Elizabeth Hope Cutler, 32, a resident of Wesley Ave., Washington, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012. A graveside celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. today in Oakdale Cemetery, conducted by Robert Ormond. Alvin Ambrose, Phil Hamilton, Rodney Pierce, Kenneth Taylor, Ricky Taylor and Robbie Taylor will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 U.S. Highway 264 E., Washington. Family and friends will proceed to the cemetery following the visitation.
Hope was born in Beaufort County on Feb. 15, 1980, daughter of Allen Ray and Sue Hamilton Cutler, who survive. She attended Northside High School and had been employed at Bill’s Hot Dog at Washington Square Mall since the age of 16. Hope attended Pinetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Hope was loved very dearly by her mother.
In addition to her parents, Hope is survived by her sister, Lori Gill and husband Chris of Smithfield; her nephew, Daniel Lee Gill of Smithfield; her grandmothers, Shirley L. Hamilton of Washington and Mary J. Cutler of Pinetown and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hope was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Ray Cutler.
