Mrs. Anna Ambrose Jones, age 91, a resident of Washington died Friday, April 8, 2011, at River Trace Nursing Center of Washington.

A graveside funeral service will be held 1 p.m. today, April 9, 2011, at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Kevin Johnson.

Mrs. Jones was born in New York County, N.Y., on August 12, 1919, daughter of the late Theodore Ambrose and the late Ida Feisner Ambrose. She married Herman Henry Jones who preceded her in death. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Washington Chapter #7 Order of the Eastern Star and attended St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Washington.

Survivors include two daughters: Barbara Rumley and Carolyn Lewis both of Washington; three grandchildren: Bill Rumley, IV, Tanya Strickland and Stephanie Rumley Lauterbach and three great grandchildren: Richard Lauterbach, Maggie Rumley and Ryan Lauterbach.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
