Rev. James Edward Wilson

The Rev. James Edward Wilson was born on Sept. 22, 1914, in the Old Ford Community, Washington, and passed away on June 20, 2012, in Richmond, Va. Rev. Wilson was a resident of Westminster Canterbury, in Richmond, Va.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Louise Wilson, in 2003 and his wife of six years, Pauline Holt Wilson, in 2010. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Lane Wilson, Sam Wilson and Paul Wilson, all of Washington.
He is survived by his son Robert Wilson and his wife Sharon of Steubenville, Ohio, and by his daughter Brenda Chisholm and her husband Glenn of Bethany Beach, Del. He is survived, also, by his five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
James Wilson grew up in the Washington, N.C., area and always enjoyed coming home to see his many relatives in the area.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, in the Montague Chapel at Westminster Canterbury in Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Fellowship Fund at Westminster Canterbury or to Battery Park Christian Church.
