Paula Katherine Smith, 83, a resident of the Brian Center, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Rosewood Memorial Park in Va. Beach. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Providence Mennonite Church, 5363 Old Providence Rd., Va. Beach, VA. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
