Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit, along with the Department of Community Corrections agents, arrested Antoine Kirby Raphael, 23, of 121 Paul St., Washington, last Friday.
A press release from the drug unit said that its investigators made purchases of marijuana and crack-cocaine from Raphael while he was on probation from another drug-related conviction. At the time, he had only been on probation for a few months, said a spokesman from the sheriff’s office drug unit.
Raphael was charged with possession with two counts intent to sell marijuana, two counts possession with intent to sell crack-cocaine and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The amounts of marijuana and crack were not substantial, said the spokesman.
