The Belhaven Police Department is offering $500 for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for property damage to the town’s community center. A brick was thrown at a window, causing $500 in damage, said police Chief Fred Clingenpeel. The incident happened sometime between 2 p.m. July 19 and 8 a.m. July 20. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the police department at 252-943-2242.
