Mr. James “Pete” Wainwright, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Pete owned and operated Pete’s Garage in Chocowinity since 1973.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
