Roger Crockett Shupe

Mr. Roger Crockett Shupe, 58, a resident of Belvoir, N.C., died Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
Memorial services in Pennsylvania will be held at a later date.
Mr. Shupe was born in Norristown, Pa., on Jan. 20, 1953, to the late Howard S. and Frances (Crockett) Shupe. He attended Merthacton High School in Fairview Village, Pa. Roger loved nature and had a soft spot in his heart for all animals. He loved folk music and listened through the years to the Mike Flynn show on the radio. Roger also enjoyed Celtic music and loved going to flea markets and yard sales.
Roger is the beloved brother of one sister, Sheila Schmidt and husband Wesley of Hamburg, Pa., two brothers, Howard W. Shupe and wife Sue of Nelson, Pa., Bruce C. Shupe and wife Deb of Palm, Pa.; several nieces and nephews and his two dogs Joey and Gremlin. He is also survived by his best friend, Shari “Linda” White of Washington. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rickey Shupe and half brother, Charles E. White.
