Ms. Joyce Chenelle Fields, 39, of 287 Kims Loop Road, Plymouth, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center, Edenton.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at First Zion Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Welch officiating. Burial will follow in First Zion Cemetery.
Ms. Fields was born on March 3, 1973, in Washington County. She was the daughter of Sammy Fields Sr. and Chevelle Johnson Fields. She was a member of First Zion Grove Baptist Church and was employed as a SIMS operator.
Survivors include two daughters: Brianna Nicole Fields and Amara Fields, both of the home; father: Sammy Fields Sr., Belvedere; mother: Chevelle J. Fields, Plymouth; three brothers: Sammy Fields Jr., Atlanta, Ga.; Keith Fields, Lexington, Ky.; Darrell Fields, Plymouth; sister: Victoria Fields of the home; paternal grandmother: Alice Fields, Raleigh; maternal grandmother: Geraldine Davenport, Plymouth.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Toodle’s Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother, Chevelle J. Fields, 1406 Mackey’s Road, Plymouth.
