Mrs. Gladys Manning Peed, 87, of Williamston, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at her home.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. today at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Williamston.
Mrs. Peed, a homemaker and lifelong resident of Martin County, was born in Martin County on Nov. 16, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Harmon and Lizzie Wynn Manning. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Cecil Peed. She was a member of Vernon Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Delton Ray Peed of Jamesville and Freddie Herman Peed of Williamston, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home in Williamston.
