Jerrie Oughton was the winner of a signed first-edition copy of Nicholas Sparks’ “The Choice” at a fundraising raffle for Literacy Volunteers of Beaufort County. Anna Sizemore, program coordinator for LVBC, drew the winning ticket at I Can’t Believe It’s a Book Store in downtown Washington. LVBC provides free one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, speaking and math to legal residents of Beaufort County.
