Ms. Armaza Downing, 64, a resident of 75 Bousch St., Apt. 5A, Brooklyn, NY, and formerly of Washington County, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Bellview Hospital, Brooklyn. A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Puckett–Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Promiseland Church of Christ of Disciples of Christ, Jamesville, with Vice–Bishop Anthony R. Terrell Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lucas family cemetery, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett–Purkett Funeral Service Inc., Roper.
