Mrs. Juanita “Doggin” Moore O’Carroll, 76, of 602 East 4th Street, Washington, died May 25, 2007 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. June 3, 2007 at Covenant Community Church with Shad Watters officiating.
Mrs. O’Carroll was born in Beaufort County on November 3, 1929 to the late Jesse Herbert Moore and the late Hortense Arnold Moore. She attended Beaufort County Schools. She later married Joseph Daniel O’Carroll who preceded her in death on December 2, 1978. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include five children: Lloyd O’Carroll of Richmond, Va., and Gladys Powell of Havelock, Phil O’Carroll, Jody O’Carroll Jr. and Wayne O’Carroll all of Washington; two sisters: Lona Woolard and Gloria Price, both of Washington; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. O’Carroll was preceded in death by a sister: Grace Loflin; and a brother: Buddy Moore.
