Brenda Taylor Adams, 64, died Saturday, May 26, 2007.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Adams, daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie Whitford Taylor grew up in Clayroot. She attended the Chicod schools and East Carolina University. She was a career employee with Carolina Telephone/Sprint, retiring in 1996 with 28 years of service. She was a charter member of Chocowinity United Methodist Church where she served in many roles including singing in the choir. One of her great joys was her family, particularly the time she spent with her two grandsons.
Surviving, husband of 46 years, Bobby Adams of the home; daughter, Elaine Dunn of Washington; son, Howard Adams and wife, Lori, of Chocowinity; sisters, Margie Taylor of Clayroot, Jennifer Fulford and husband, Neal, of Greenville and Vickie Tomer and husband, John, of Pennsylvania; and two grandsons, Austin Adams and Adam Dunn.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
