The N.C. Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division will temporarily suspend operations at its Bayview-Aurora route Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23, for dolphin replacement at the Bayview ferry terminal.
The suspension could last through Monday, Sept. 24, depending upon what workers have to overcome when removing the old pilings in the dolphin cluster.
