At the first Music in the Streets for 2011, Kevin Clancy was showing off one of the six 14-foot Vanguard 420 sailboats used by the Little Washington Sailing Club to train the youth of the area in sailing on the Pamlico River. The first class is scheduled to start on June 13. A record number of students have already signed up.
