Helen Elizabeth Windley Clark

Ms. Helen Elizabeth Windley Clark, age 76, a resident of Clark Rd., Bath, NC, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Clairs Church of Christ officiated by Craig Hagen. Special music will be provided by Double Portion, Jennifer Taylor and Kay Tetterton. Nicholas “Nick” Shiver, Brad Credle and Stephen “Stevie” Credle, Don Edwards, Danny Midgette and Timmy Craig will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in St. Clairs Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at St. Clairs Church of Christ, 9814 NC 99 Hwy S, Bath, NC and other times at her home.
Ms. Clark was born in Beaufort County on March 17, 1936 daughter of Alton and Leah Braddy Windley. She was married to Stephen Charlie “Steve” Clark who preceded her in death. Ms. Clark loved Jesus and was a faithful member of St. Clairs. She loved spending time with her grand kids, enjoyed bowling and her baby dolls.
Ms. Clark is survived by her daughters, Debra Clark Credle and husband Terry and Sylvia C. Shiver and husband Randy all of Bath; her brothers, Buddy Windley of Washington and Ronnie Windley of Louisiana; her sisters, Nelva Naurizio of Winter Park, FL, Velma Boyle of Orlando, FL, Jean Benson of Tulsa, OK, Lorraine Craig of Chocowinity and Deborah Kay Windley of Washington; her grandchildren, Terry Stephen Credle and wife Amy of Greenville, Bradford Clark Credle of Bath, Sara Elizabeth Credle of Bath and Nick Shiver of Bath and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Phelps Windley and her sisters, Leah Pauline Edwards and Wanda Grizzard.
