President Jeryl Allen called the Oct. 11 meeting of the Pantego Ruritan Club to order. The minutes of the September meeting were approved as read. Clark Peele gave the treasurer’s report.
Old business included an announcement about the Zone meeting to be held at the Bunyan Ruritan Club, and the details of the Oct. 13 spaghetti supper/bingo were finalized. (Note: The supper/bingo was a success, and the club appreciates the continued support from the community and businesses.
In new business, officers for 2013 were elected: Wayne Windley, president; George Webster, vice president; Hank Stoop, secretary, Clark Peele, treasurer; Oran Benson, third year director; Mickey Benson, second year director, and Kevin Groome, first year director.
With no further business, Allen led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance and the meeting was adjourned.
