Barbara Shatz (left) was presented the 2012 Woman of the Year award by Sue Mahoney at the Oct. 18 meeting of the Washington Business and Career Women. Shatz is employed at Morris Insurance Agency in Washington. She and her husband, Mike, live in the Washington area. Shatz was recognized for her dedicated participation and support of the group and recruitment of new members. She recently organized a very successful Dessert for a Year fundraiser.
