Mr. Frank Lester Rogers Jr., 67, died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Martin General Hospital.
A graveside service will be today at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston with Brother Johnny Barber and the Rev. Rod Dorn officiating.
Mr. Rogers was born in Martin County on Oct. 4, 1939. He was the son of the late Marjorie Jones Rogers and Frank Lester Rogers. He attended Martin County Schools. He was a farmer. He was a lifelong member of Vernon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Janice R. Mobley of Williamston and JoAnn R. Eley of Moyock.
The family will receive friends at Walker Funeral Home prior to the funeral today from 2 until 2:45 p.m. and then go in procession to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Vernon United Methodist Church, c/o Mary Alice Edmondson, 222 Wildcat Road, Williamston, NC 27892.
