Complaints about traffic in and out of a house on East 11^th Street in Washington led to the arrests of three men last week, according to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit.

According to a spokesman for the drug unit, while Jaquan Tremel Jones, 18, a resident of 406 E. 11th St., Washington, was the target of surveillance and controlled buys conducted by the drug unit, the bust netted others who happened to be in the house and in possession of small amounts of marijuana.

“When we executed the search warrant, there were two other people in the house,” said the drug unit spokesman.

In addiction to prepackaged marijuana, digital scales and drug paraphernalia were seized at the scene, according to the press release.

Jones was charged with four counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a residence to facilitate drug activity.

Deshawn Terrell Moore, 19, a resident of 105 Pheasant Dr., Washington, was charged with possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Don Covay Wallace, 39, of 406 E. 11th St., Washington, possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a residence to facilitate drug activity.

Jones was issued a $10,000 secured bond and Wallace and Moore were both issued $300 secured bonds.
