The fourth grade students at Bath Elementary School enjoyed a visit from Ann Bergbauer, who taught them facts about historical sites in Beaufort County from the Beaufort County Tri-Centennial Quilt. Bergbauer, a member of the Pamlico River Quilters’ Guild, gave a presentation that allowed the students to not only learn about Beaufort County’s history, but also about the art of quilting.
