Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
To the person complaining about traffic from the parade: Bah, humbug, to you. People have to go home afterward, don’t they? Apparently you do not support all the time, hard work and effort it takes to pull a parade off. So stay home from now on when something in the community is going on. And merry Christmas and God bless to all of you.
I love hot, fresh donuts and it’s great to have a donut shop in Washington. What I don’t like is the nasty attitude I get every time I go in to buy hot fresh donuts. I really don’t need them, after all. But, I’ll tell you what I really don’t need is the nasty attitude.
I urge everyone to read the New Testament of the Holy Bible. It will bring you peace, and comfort and guidance whenever you hear the news. If you know where the good news is, it’s in the testament of the Holy Bible. I urge everyone to read it every day. Pick a part, any part and it will give you peace and guidance. Merry Christmas.
