Mrs. Rosa Lee Gibbs Hooper, 91, of 12480 North Lake Road, Engelhard, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Cross Creek Health Care Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gibbs family cemetary on North Lake Road, with Steve Bryan officiating.
Mrs. Hooper was born in Hyde County on July 1, 1916, daughter of the late Harvey William and Alice Blanche Gibbs. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and was married to Alvin Liston Hooper, who preceded her in death.
Surviving is a brother, Edgar Gibbs, of Engelhard.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Hooper was preceded in death by two brothers, Israel Gibbs and Edmond Gibbs.
The family will receive friends at the home of her niece, Mary Joyce Gibbs, 12538 North Lake Road, Engelhard.
