Infant Ni’Shawn Blackmond died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Outer Banks Hospital, Nags Head.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the cemetery of Haven Creek Baptist Church.
He was born July 15, 2007 in Dare County. He was the son of Alycia A. Blackmond and Dennis S. Collins.
Survivors include one brother, Treyvon Blackmond of Manteo; one sister, Mya Blackmond of Manteo; paternal grandparents, Joe D. Collins Jr. and Denise Collins of Columbia; and maternal grandparents, William Blackmond of Ahoskie, and Jackie Simmons of Manteo.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
