Wedding: Woolard-Morgan

Deanna Lynn Woolard and James Clarence Morgan IV were united in marriage on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 2:00 o’clock at the Bayview Community Church in Bayview. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Gregg Hornbuckle.
The bride is the daughter of Tony G. Woolard and Stephanie B. Fuller, both of Washington, NC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben W. Braddy of Bayview and Mrs. Lillian Woolard and the late Mr. Levin T. Woolard of Washington, NC.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Morgan III of Bayview. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Burbage, Sr. of Pinetown and Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Morgan of Bayview.
Mrs. Dolores Morgan, grandmother of the groom, provided instrumental wedding music.
The chapel was decorated with ferns and white wedding tulle amid candles and lighted ficus trees.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Alfred Angelo white a-line strapless gown of silk satin; the bodice featured a ruched waistline. The back of the gown flowed into a chapel-length train and was embellished with satin-covered buttons. She carried a bouquet of peach and white roses, alstroemeria, mountain lilies, baby’s breath, and greenery.
Miss Sierra Ormond of Bath attended as maid of honor and wore a strapless a-line gown of chiffon in lipstick. The bodice featured a sweetheart neckline with pleating and a gathered empire waist. She carried a bouquet of white roses, alstroemeria, baby’s breath, and greenery. Miss Jenna Fuller, the bride’s sister, served as flower girl. Her dress was a white tea-length organza gown with a gathered waistline completed with a lipstick sash. Cody Hornbuckle was the ring bearer.
Mr. Jay Morgan III attended his son as best man. Ushers were Dustin Morgan, groom’s brother, and Jodi Hopkins of Pinetown.
Lisa Hill served as mistress of ceremony and Lauren Dotson as register attendant.
Immediately following the ceremony, the bride’s family hosted the reception on the church lawn. Guests enjoyed an assortment of finger foods catered by Mr. and Mrs. Jay Waters of Pinetown. A separate table held the three-tiered wedding cake adorned with the letter “M” surrounded by peach roses. An after-rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the Bath Ruritan Club building. Guests served themselves to a chicken and pork tenderloin dinner with trimmings in an atmosphere reflecting the groom’s farming occupation, complete with a groom’s cake featuring a cotton-picker in a field of cotton.
The bride is attending Beaufort County Community College studying general education and is employed at New Beginnings of Bayview. The groom earned a degree in Diesel Technology from Beaufort County Community College and is employed at Burbage Farms of Yeatesville.
Following their honeymoon trip to Ocracoke, the couple resides in Bayview.
