Randy Dale “Piddle” Woolard

Mr. Randy Dale “Piddle” Woolard, age 58, a resident of Hunters Glen, Washington, NC, died on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at his home. A graveside celebration of his life was held Monday, January 7, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Boyd Family Cemetery, Washington, NC, officiated by Pastor Skip Hurley. Clyde Alligood, Randy Martin, Robby McKinney, Isaac Boyd, Andy Woolard and William Mark Cutler served as pallbearers. Ken Dellinger, Charlie Ray Davenport, Jim Hall and Jackie Jones served as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Woolard was born in Memphis, TN on August 9, 1954, son of the late Orbert and Thara Richardson Woolard and had lived in Beaufort County since 1964. Piddle graduated from Bath High School and was a truck driver for C.O. Tankard. He loved fishing, hunting and Carolina basketball. Piddle was a wonderful father and brother and was a great friend.
Piddle is survived by his daughter, Brandi Lynn Woolard of Washington; his brother, Danny Woolard and wife Jo of Washington; and his sisters, Cathy Taylor and husband Joey and Barbara Woolard and husband Ricky, both of Washington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Freese.
