Ms. Sandra Mae Boone Wainwright, age 48, a resident of 1063 Fowle Drive, Washington, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Mike Caton and Harry Fulmer.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Kenneth Davis, Lloyd Davis, Jr., Benjamin Pollard, Tommy Rhem, Jerry Williamson, Brad Overton, Matthew Manning, and Alan Wainwright.
Ms. Wainwright was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 10, 1959. She was the daughter of Elva Mae Woolard Boone and the late Gordon Roger Boone, Sr. Ms. Wainwright attended Rosemary Church of Christ and the New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her mother, Elva Mae Woolard Boone of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three children, Katherine Stewart and fianc/, Richard Pollard of Farmville; Carrie Sue Wainwright of Washington, Edward Wainwright of Oxford; two sisters, Susan “Sue” Koop and husband, Don of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Chris Boone of Kendallville, Ind; one brother, Gordon Boone of Washington; and one grandchild, Hailey Pollard of Farmville.
In addition to her father, Ms. Wainwright was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Irvin Pollard, Jr.
The family received friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home of her brother, Gordon Boone, 5488 V.O.A. Road, Washington.
