Mrs. Mary “Peggy” Cutler

Mrs. Mary Margaret “Peggy” Keeter Cutler, age 59, a resident of 112 Charlotte St., Washington, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Beaufort County Medical Center.

Mrs. Cutler was born on August 4, 1951 in Windsor, N.C., daughter of the late James Edward Keeter and Goldia Spain Keeter. She grew up in Newport News, Va., and then moved to Washington, N.C. Peggy was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart of Washington, N.C.

Peggy is survived by her son: James Michael Cutler of Washington and two grandchildren: Courtney Lynn Cutler and Jason Michael Cutler Jr. of Washington; her brothers: Eddie Keeter of Washington, Charlie Keeter of West Point, Va., and Jamie Keeter of Va.; her sisters: Lynda Faye Cox of Smithfield, Va., Paula Sylvestri of Worcester, Mass., Anne Keeter of Washington and Marion Hart of Washington along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Danny Guirkins and Thomas Gregory “Greg” Keeter.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at Paul Funeral Home in Washington and other times at the home of Marion Hart located at 572 Robersonville Road, Washington.
