Washington Police arrested Joseph Aaron Hodges, 20, of West 16th Street Wednesday on 22 felony and two misdemeanor charges resulting from crimes committed over a two-year period in the Washington area.

Charges include breaking and entering, attempted breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering motor vehicle, safecracking, injury to personal property. These charges stem from ongoing investigations over the past two years.

Investigators will be contacting victims as the investigation continues and are still following up on additional cases that may involve Hodges.

Hodges was placed in Beaufort County Jail with a $100,000 secured bond pending appearances.

Police are working with Pitt and Beaufort County sheriffs offices on additional cases which may result in more charges.
