Mrs. Linda Ipock Nassef, 59, of Bridgeton, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 12, 2013. A longtime resident of Winterville, Linda was a loving and caring woman who always had open arms and an open heart. She was the “Neighborhood Mom” who loved her family and her Lord. Linda was preceded in death by her twin sister, Brenda Kay Ipock, and her husband, Patrick Lee Nassef, Sr.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2013, at Pollock-Best Chapel with the Rev. Gabby Gaskins and the Rev. Dwayne Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, prior to the service, and other times at the home of her parents. Linda is survived by her daughter, Tina Marie Nassef, of Winterville; son, Patrick Lee Nassef, Jr., and wife Emily and their daughter Emma, of Winterville; parents, Louise Asby Ipock and Herbert Ipock, of Bridgeton; her sisters, Margaret I. Brinson, of Bridgeton; Lois I. Sutton, and husband Terry, of New Bern; and her brother, David Ipock, and wife Melanie, of Bridgeton. She also leaves behind her extended family, brother-in-law, Phillip Paul Nassef, and wife Frances, of New Bern; sisters-in-law, Debbie N. Britt, of New Bern; Phyllis N. Shuffler, of Saint Petersburg, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and church family.
