Mary Ann White Simpson, 73, of Roper, died Thurs- day, March 14, 2013, at Vidant Edgecombe in Tarboro. A funeral will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth with Edgar Masencup, Thomas Biggs, Wayne Ellis and Howard Simpson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 17, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the residence.
