Mr. Donald Kenneth Hughson, 66, a resident of Washington, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by the Rev. Samuel Blount.
Mr. Hughson was born in Deer Park, New York on September 17, 1946 to the late Gordon Hughson and Ruth Manning Hughson. On November 6, 1965, he married the former Toni Lou Corrado, who survives. Mr. Hughson was a truck driver having worked for Red Star Express Trucking Company for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to this wife Toni L. Hughson, of the home, Mr. Hughson is survived by his children: Michelle Wilkins of Matamoras, PA, Donna Jamieson and husband Shawn of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Jessica Andrade and husband Esteban of Brooklyn, NY, three brothers; Dennis Hughson and Arthur Hughson both of Matamoras, PA, and Ricky Hughson of Newburg, NY, three sisters; Barbara Clark of Middletown, NY, Geraldine Ryman of Milford, PA and Dinah McBride of Hopewell, VA, five grandchildren; Lauren Jamieson of Brooklyn, NY, Shawn Jamieson, Jr. of Walden, NY, Wade Jamieson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Victor Hughson-Wilkins and Olivia Wilkins both of Matamoras, PA, and two great-grandchildren; Jameson Doyle and Genavieve Jamieson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hughson is preceded in death by two brothers; Roy Hughson and Larry Hughson and a sister; Darlene Hughson.
