PETS OF THE WEEK_130331

Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To see more animals available for adoption, visit www.petango.com/beaufortcountyNC or call 252-946-4517 for more information.

The animals listed here are available through Saturday.

Leela

If you are looking for an affectionate “love bug”, then Leela is the kitty for you. She is all about affection. Leela is about two years old with beautiful coat of gray, sprinkled with peach dots.  While on your lap, she loves to be held, stroked and her large emerald green eyes will melt your heart.

Nikki

Nikki is one of kind. She’s a Blue Heeler/Kelpie-mix with a thick black coat of fur. She is a very sweet, loving dog who has had some training and is housebroken. She is a 50-pound, 4-year-old bundle of smart dog and wants to be the only dog in the household, as she does not want to share her love with anyone else. She is already spayed, so her adoption fee is only $15, which includes her microchip along with a parvo/distemper and bordetella vaccine. Please come visit Nikki today and help her find a good forever home.
