Melba Olive Jordan Sutton

Mrs. Melba Olive Jordan Sutton, 93 of 605 E. Clinton Street, Roseboro, died on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Roseboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Herring officiating. Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Sutton was born on July 21, 1919 in Wayne County to the late Clayton Frank and Lillie Edwards Jordan. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 52 years, Thomas Lamont Sutton. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: two daughters, Jo Ann Sutton Norton and husband Mitchell of Washington, N.C., and Pamela Sutton Spell and husband Terry of Autryville; one son, Dennis Lamont Sutton and wife Jenny of Bradenton, FL; one sister, Shirley Jordan Finch of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Olivia Norton Cuthrell and husband Lewis, Jody Sutton, Wendy Sutton Wadsworth and husband Bobby, Grayson Spell and Harper Spell; and one great grandchild, Triston Wadsworth.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
