Robert Hyatt

Mr. Robert Hyatt, age 75, a resident of Cherry Run Rd., Washington, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by Eddie Bowen. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Ben Woolard, Willie Leggett, Marion Green, Wayne Bailey, Harvey Carraway, Wayne Bundy and Tim Bazemore will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Hyatt was born in Dillon, South Carolina March 28, 1938 to the late Raymond Hyatt and Lillie Cook Hyatt. On January 10, 1959 he married Gladys Marie Logan of Locust Grove, Virginia who survives. He was owner/operator of Hyatt’s Tree Service

Survivors include his wife Gladys Logan Hyatt of the home, one daughter, Tammy Hyatt Leggett and husband Al of Bear Grass, two sons, Robert Lee Hyatt and wife Susan of Williamston, Donald Ray Hyatt and wife Deborah Tyson of Chocowinity, five grandchildren, Suzanne Goff, Stephanie Hyatt, Michael Hyatt, Danielle Hyatt, Dianna Hyatt, five great grandchildren, Dylan Goff, Taylor Goff, Hunter O’Merry, Alani Hyatt, Emmy Lee Hyatt, two brothers, Oliver Hyatt of Laurinburg, NC, Leon Hyatt and wife Linda of Dillon, SC and three sisters, Roxie Caulder and husband Rudolph of Dillon, SC, Carolyn Powell of Laurinburg, NC  and Eva Lovelace of Sumter, SC.

 

The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday April 16, 2013 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
