Mrs. Viola Byrum Pierce 89, of 422 Bull Hill Road, Windsor, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Edgewood Cemetery, with the Rev. Don English officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. that day at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, which is in charge of arrangements.
