Joseph Travis Brown, 35, passed away at his home in Tarboro.

Travis was born January 2, 1978 in Nash County to James A. “Jimmy” and Barbara Brown.

Travis is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Barbara, a brother, James Kyle “Jamie” Brown, and his much loved cat, Sade.

Travis graduated from Tarboro High School in 1996 and from Edgecombe Community College with a double associate’s degree. He was currently continuing his education at Pitt Community College. Travis was a former employee at KCST.

A causal celebration of life for Travis is planned for Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at his home and yard, 2502 N. Main St., Tarboro.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
