16 year old arrested on larceny charges

Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Washington 16 year old for a break-in that happened on Cody Road in Washington, said a sheriff’s office press release.
The afternoon of Dec. 29, a report of came into the sheriff’s office: a break-in, stolen was a gaming system. After examining evidence gathered during the course of the investigation, Inv. Scott Williams obtained warrants charging Brett Michaels Woodard, 16, of Clayton Road, Washington, with the crime.
On April 2, Woodard was served the warrant charging him with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
In the state of North Carolina, 16-year-olds are considered adults.
