Mrs. Ophelia Patterson, 76, of 102 Warren Court, Williamston, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Roanoke Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Plymouth.

A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Toodle’s Funeral Home with Apostle Thomas E. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Toodle’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Patterson was born in Allendale County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Janie Rivers Orr. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Leyvonne Patterson, Washington, N.C.; four daughters, Vivian Drayton, Fairfax, S.C., Rose Patterson, Plymouth; Sandra Barrow, Williamston; Glada Vaughn, Roosevelt, N.Y.; two brothers, James Orr, John Orr, both of Boston, Mass.; three sisters, Bessie Anderson, Savannah, Ga., Elnora Loadholt, Fairfax, S.C., Mildred Harrison, Brockton, Mass.; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Toodle’s Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Rose Patterson, 85 Jackson Lane, Plymouth.
