Washington man sentenced for bank robber

A Washington man found guilty of robbing a Greenville bank was sentenced to 148 months in prison for his part in the armed robbery.

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, eastern North Carolina district, Keith Edward Frazier, 25, and his brother Kevin Frazier, entered First South Bank on East Fire Tower Road on March 7, 2011 and committed the robbery at gunpoint. The two fled with $24,058, said the release. Frazier was ordered to pay $24,058 in addition to his sentence.

Kevin Frazier was previously sentenced to 130 months in prison and full restitution for his role in the robbery. Investigation of this case was conducted by the Greenville Police Department.
