MINUTES FOR MAY 14TH, 2013
The meeting was called to order by Ruby Manning at 7:30 p.m.
Members present were: Obed Brabble, Jeff Edwards, Buddy Harris, Carlton Manning, Ruby Manning, John Nacke, Carolyn Tyson, Harold Tyson, Gail Vickers, Dan Wallace, Bryan Weatherington, Phyllis Weatherington. Total of 12 members.
The song America was sung by the members. Invocation was by Buddy Harris.
Ruby Manning serviced a meal of Barbecue, Slaw, Baked Beans, and sweets.
Then the minutes were read from the April 9th meeting. A motion was made by Carolyn Tyson and seconded by Carlton Manning to approve as read. It was approved by the membership.
Harold Tyson made the treasury report for the month of April 2013.
We had one application for membership. John Nacke was voted on and accepted.
Please keep the Families J.S & Opal Rogerson and the Wallace Family in your prayers.
We are to bring up in the June meeting about whether or not we are going to have a fundraiser this year other than the Turkey Shoot.
With no other business, a motion was made by Carlton Manning and seconded by Buddy Harris to adjourn. We said the “Pledge of Allegiance” and were dismissed at 8:30 p.m. by Ruby Manning.
