A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in L.R. Randolph Memorial Chapel, Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, with Elder Melvin King officiating. Burial will follow in Crandell cemetery.
Mr. Crandell was born July 18, 1940, the son of the late Willie and Alliege Salsbury Crandell. He attended P.S. Jones High School. He was a member of Equal Liberty Church.
Survivors include five sisters, Mary Godley, Hazel Williams, Shirley Crandell, Glenda Walker and Barbara Valle of Monticello, N.Y.; and four brothers, Alander Crandell, Gene Crandell, Lonnie Crandell and Johnny Crandell, of Monticello, N.Y.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the L.R. Randolph Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
