David Holt Riggs, age 44, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. 

Surviving are his mother; Ann Heath Jones of Ayden,  two daughters; Madison Riggs and Brittany Riggs both of Washington, NC,  four brothers; William “Sandy”  Heath of PineBluff, AR. Blonnie Grover Jones of Star, SC,  John Allen Jones of Dover, NC, sisters; Teresa Heath Kay and husband Tony R. of Anderson, SC, JoAnn Heath Cox  and husband Timmy R. of Cove City, NC  two nieces; Shelby Cox and Anna Kay.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Home, Ayden. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Estates, Grifton,

The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home of his sister, Jo Ann Cox, 403 Loop Road, Cove City.
