William Edward “Eddie” Russ, of Hudson, NC passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at First Assembly of God in Belhaven.  Everyone is invited to come and celebrate “Eddie’s” life.

Born November 3, 1964 in Beaufort County, NC, he was the son of Alan Wayne Russ Sr. and Janice E. Russ of Pantego, NC.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Alan Wayne Russ, Jr. and wife Janice of Granite Falls; and companion, Monica Effler of Sawmills, NC; three nieces and three nephews.

The family will receive friends at Bass-Smith Granite on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
