To the Editor:
Kudos to you for the July 28 editorial “While We Were Sleeping” regarding the “sweeping changes made by the NC General Assembly.”  It truly was one of the most radical political bodies ever assembled in the Tar Heel state and the hope is that its attempts to set NC back decades will be overruled in the next election when we as an awakened body politic exercise our right to “throw the rascals out.”  Speaking of which, those three gentlemen often listed below your editorials, our area legislators, it would be most interesting for you to publish the voting records of Messrs. Cook, Speciale, and Tine especially pertaining to the poor legislation referenced in your editorial.  That’s information an informed electorate needs to have in hand before our next opportunity to vote.
