Mrs. Wilma Charlotte Coleman Stilley, age 86, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Beaver Dam Church of Christ and will be conducted by Tony Krantz. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Stilley was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 3, 1926 to the late Dewey and Frieda Snook Coleman. She married Odell Ambers Stilley who preceded her in death in February of 1992. She was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ and was a former member of Muddy Creek Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Michael of Front Royal, Virginia, one son, Raymond Stilley and wife Wilma of Winston Salem, three grandchildren, Donna Williams and husband Mike of Washington, Misty Avery and husband Ernie of Clemmons, Daniel Michael and wife Michelle, six great grandchildren, Robert Strader and wife Kiley, CTT3 Ryan Strader, USN, Regan Michael, Bryson Hooper, Zach Hooper, Macon Williams and wife Renay and one niece, Sylvia Coleman Owen. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Coleman.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 10:45 am prior to the funeral service at the church and other times at 38 CBH Lodge Road, Washington.
