HAMPTON, Va. — Willie Taylor, Jr., 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Melissa Taylor; daughter, Joanna Womack; brothers, William Taylor and Paul Chapman; sisters, Cora Burton and Clara Aikens. Survivors include his wife, Hazel M. Taylor; son, Christopher Taylor (Jeannie) of Marietta, GA; one sister, Geraldine T. Bunch; two brothers, Dennis Taylor (Marjorie) and Charlie Taylor; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. A service of triumph will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Providence Baptist Church, 1331 30^th Street, Newport News, VA with pastor Dr. Corey L. Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 1 to 7p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday. O.H.
