Congressman Walter Jones, Jr. is scheduled to be in Plymouth on Saturday, August 17. Jones began representing part of Washington County when new electoral district boundaries were drawn.
While his exact schedule is not known, he is to have lunch with local officials and then stroll the Plymouth waterfront during the drag boat races to greet the public.

In the case of excessive heat or rain, the conference room in the Strader building(128 East Water Street) will be available for Congressman Jones to meet with the public.

“I am grateful to have the opportunity to visit Washington County this week,” said Congressman Jones.  “I look forward to meeting with my fellow Eastern North Carolinians.”
