8/12/13 9:47am A wreck involving a Tractor Trailer was reported on N.C. 94 South. Deputy Barnes responded. The Highway Patrol investigated.
8/12/13 11:42am A vehicle accident was reported on Riverneck rd. Deputy Barnes investigated.
8/12/13 5:00pm Shawntel A. James 22, of Columbia was arrested for assault and battery. Sgt. McPeak was arresting officer.
8/12/13 10:52pm A disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64 east. deputy Coltrain responded.
8/13/13 6:03am a disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64 East. Sgt. McPeak responded.
8/13/13 12:41pm a disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64 at the Tyrrell washington County line. Sgt. Mcpeak responded.

8/15/13 10:40am Communicating threats was reported on Newlands Rd. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
8/16/13 4:58pm A hit and run was reported on North Road St. Sgt. McPeak responded.
8/16/13 11:05pm An alarm was reported on Main St. Deputy Coltrain responded.
8/17/13 8:36pm A disabled motorist was reported on Main St. Deputy Coltrain responded.
8/17/13 11:56pm A fight was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Deputies Allen and Coltrain responded.
8/18/13 12:41am A noise complaint was reported on Howard St. Deputy Cotrain responded.
8/18/13 12:44am A fight was reported on Fonsoe St. Sgt. McPeak and Deputies Allen, and Coltrain responded and found Steven Childress 25, of Columbia bleeding from head injuries. Washington Tyrrell EMS transported Childress to Chowan Vidant Hospital and he was later transferred to Vidant Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Mutual Aid was requested and Deputies with Washington County and Plymouth Police and the Highway Patrol responded to assist. as a result of the investigation deputies charged Lovell S.Hill 31 of Edenton with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury. Hill was placed in the Washington County Detention Center on 50,000 secured bond.

8/19/13 10:00pm Justin D. Rogers, 24 of Winston Salem recieved a citation for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Shivley issued the citation.
8/20/13 11:42am A trash truck turned over on Newlands Rd. Sheriff Liverman, Deputies Davenport shivley, Washington Tyrrell EMS two units, Tyrrell Fire Dept. Tyrrell County Emergency Management responded. Both occupants of the truck were transported to Vidant Chowan Hospital for treatment. The Highway Patrol investigated.
8/20/13 5:50pm A vehicle was reported stolen on Newfoundland Rd. Deputy Shivley responded.
8/20/13 7:45pm An alarm was reported on N.C.94 North. Deputies Shivley and Whitener responded.
8/20/13 9:19pm A suspicious person was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Deputies Shivley and Whitener responded.
8/21/13 2:15pm A vehicle accident was reported on Martha St. Sgt. McPeak investigated.
8/21/13 4:09pm Quoc an Nguyen 42, of Columbia was arrested for driving while impaired. Sgt. McPeak was arresting officer.
8/22/13 2:48am An alarm was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Coltrain responded.
8/22/13 10:40am Larceny was reported on Old Columbia rd. Sgt. Mcpeak responded.
8/22/13 8:35pm An alarm was reported on Soundside Rd. Deputy Allen responded.
8/23/13 10:45am An assault was reported on Riverneck Rd. Sheriff Liverman responded. As a result of the investigation Chase A. Morris 22, of Columbia was arrested for assault on a female. Chief Deputy Simmons assisted. Morris was place in the Washington County Detention Center on a 48hr hold.
8/23/13 5:40pm A vehicle overturned on Newlands Rd. Sheriff Liverman Deputy Shivley Washington Tyrrell EMS and Tyrrell Fire Dept. responded. The driver was transported to Vidant Chowan Hospital for treatement. The Highway Patrol investigated.
8/23/13 10:52pm a suspicious vehicle was reported on Green St. Deputy Shivley responded.
8/24/13 1:28am An alarm was reported on Main St. Deputy Whitener responded.
8/24/13 10:12am An alarm was reported on Main St. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.

8/25/13 10:17pm Child abuse was reported. Deputy Pinkham is investigating.
